SHIRO is an immersive light installation of 48 towering, 2.5-meter-tall illuminated cylinders arranged in a circle, resembling a fairy ring. Inspired by mycelium networks, SHIRO responds to movement, evolving as visitors interact with it. From the outside, it holds one expression; inside, it pulses and transforms, altering perception like the folklore of fairy rings.
During my Vertigo internship, I worked on many ambitious light projects, but SHIRO was one where I contributed the most. It blends technology, nature, and interaction—perfectly reflecting the kind of work I strive for, making it a key piece in my portfolio.
